Kalypsys' protein production and purification system enables biochemists to produce and purify up to 96 varieties of soluble active proteins in less than 48 hours with minimal user intervention. The protein production system provides a controlled environment for high throughput fermentation of up to 96 biological samples. Parameters such as process time and gas mixing ratio are user selectable and microprocessor controlled allowing for consistent and reproducible growth conditions. The automated purification system extracts and purifies up to 96 different proteins utilizing a built-in 96 tube centrifuge along with an aspirator, dispenser, and sonication unit.
This system can also be used to produce bulk quantities of purified cDNA, shRNA, and RNAi for later use in large scale screening.
