Kalypsys Systems is a unit of Kalypsys that designs, develops and markets proprietary automated systems and workstations for the drug discovery market. The centerpiece of the Kalypsys suite of technologies is a proprietary state-of-the-art automated robotic ultra-high throughput screening and profiling system. This system allows scientists to accurately and reliably interrogate targets in 1536 well-based biochemical and disease-relevant cellular assays.

On September 8, 2006 Kalypsys announced a broad collaboration between Panasonic Factory Solutions Co. Ltd. and Kalypsys Systems for the development and commercialization of next generation drug discovery systems.
